Organization or Institutional 2024 Membership
Please note that each step of this Membership Application Process must be
completed for each seperate membership you would like to apply for.
New Member Registration:

This is for those who have never been a member of NIKLA. Select the New Membership button. You will be prompted to complete a form with your information to create an account and select your login information for the Members Sections of the website.

You will then receive an email link. Check your junk/spam mail if you do not receive it within a few minutes. This link will include the payment portion of the registration and is required to activate membership.
Renewal of Annual Membership:

Click the Renew Membership button and process your payment.

You may also check your status in the My Plans on the member login icon in the top right corner of the page.

Organizations are described as local or grass roots bodies, such as Language Commissions, Public Libraries, Community Museums, etc.
Organization membership is in the name of the entity. Each Organization has a single vote and may run for the At Large Organization member of Council. Employees or volunteers of the organization may also choose to have individual memberships.

Organization Membership
Institutions are described as large bodies such as universities and/or their individual departments, government departments or ministries, provincial/territorial/national or international organizations or associations. Academic institutions are encouraged to purchase memberships by departments so the various interest areas and facilities may have representation and participate (e.g. libraries, Indigenous Studies Department, Information Studies Department, etc.).
Each membership has a single vote and may run for the At Large Institutional member of Council. Employees or volunteers of the institution may also choose to have individual memberships.
