Notice of the NIKLA-ANCLA Annual Gathering of Members on

September 14, 2026 at 12 pm EST

Emails have been sent to all current members of NIKLA. If you did not receive that email, your membership may have lapsed as of December 31, 2025. You may still renew your membership by clicking the JOIN NIKLA link and rejoin for 2026. Payment can be made by credit card, by sending an  electronic funds transfer (EFT) of your annual dues to info@nikla-ancla.com (please be sure to include your name, and email in the comment section of the EFT), or you can email us to receive an invoice. Current/Lapsed members should not make a new account when renewing.

In accordance with the By-Laws, notice is being given for the Annual Gathering of Members of the National Indigenous Knowledge & Language Alliance (NIKLA), also referred to as The Gathering. This meeting is taking place on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 12:00pm EST via Zoom.

The Agenda for this Gathering is now available on the NIKLA AGM webpage. This is a members only page, so if you require instructions on how to login, please contact us by e-mail at info@nikla-ancla.com. If your login does not work, your membership may have lapsed.

On this Agenda you will note that there are two Open Calls to members. The first, Section 7, is to nominate/self-nominate for seats on the Council. The available seats and any current nominated members are listed on the Agenda as well as on the NIKLA AGM webpage. The second, Section 8, is an opportunity to provide motions from members. The deadline for motions or nominations is Monday, September 7, 2026 and should be sent via email to info@nikla-ancla.com. We are continuing to update the Gathering page as new nominations for Council positions are received.

The meeting room will open via Zoom at 11:45pm EST and the meeting will start promptly at 12:00pm EST. We look forward to you joining us for the Annual Gathering of Members. Information on Proxy Voting will be sent in the next Notice on August 21, 2026.
