Why your participation matters
NIKLA is a non-profit member-driven organization, and its AGM is its townhall – an exercise in collective accountability and engagement.
As ever, the organization faces the same challenges and opportunities that confront and confound our sector, and as ever, those challenges require honesty, imagination, courage, and solidarity to overcome.
The 2024 AGM will provide a venue for members to take stock of NIKLA’s organizational well-being, to engage with staff and Board members and, most importantly, share perspectives that will inform our priorities and our action for the next 12 months.
The meeting will feature: the presentation of the audited financial statements, annual report; proposed by-law changes to focus the organization; and, electing the members of the Board and board executive that will lead NIKLA for the next year until the next meeting of the members.
Please make some time in your busy schedules to attend our AGM so that together we may benefit from your experience, your vision, your passion, and your support. Nomination Slate: Persons who put their names forward for election for the 2-year term will be shared as nominations are received. Deadline for additional nominations is January 17, 2024.

How to vote
Members with voting rights (see section BLG 2022.02 NIKLA bylaws) will receive their voting credentials by January 22, 2024.
Note that credentials will be sent to the primary address on your NIKLA member account. Please review and, if necessary, update your account accordingly no later than January 15, 2024.
